Acne!!! One of the scariest dream of every woman which turns into reality when we skip our daily skin care routines or we use cosmetic products which are not suitable to our skin. While acne is something that affects to a lot of people and everyone wants to get rid of acne as soon as possible but do you ever wonder that how acne pops out suddenly. We have oil glands (sebaceous glands) in our body which secretes oil known as sebum. Sebum protects the skin layer and provides moisture. As we have to go out and we face pollution or we have to use cosmetic products which sometimes form a layer of dead cells at the opening of pore. Sebum got struck into the pore which leads to formation of black head & white heads. Further inflammation in this blocked pore results in acne.

No Need to worry now. Here are some of the most effective and natural methods to get rid of acne:

Ice If it is only the start of the pimple, then you can apply ice that has been made using filtered water. The ice will help to reduce the swelling and soreness under the skin. Plus, because its only ice, you can use this method as many times in the day as you want but cover ice in cloth before applying on face.

Steam Another way to use only water to clear up your pimples is to use steam. Heat water till boiling and keep your face directly above the water and cover your face with towel. The steam will help the pores to open up and from those open pores; all the dirt, grime and oil will get flushed out.

Toothpaste For most of us, the very first thing we use in the morning is the toothpaste, but little did most of us know that the same toothpaste can also help get rid of acne. You need to make sure that you use the white paste version and not the gel toothpaste. It is believed that fluoride in toothpaste helps to dry out the pimple. Apply a small amount to the affected regions, after washing your face properly. Leave it overnight and wash it off in the morning. You can repeat this process once or twice during the day, but make sure that you leave it for at least thirty minutes.

Lemon juice The citrus of lemons can work not only as an effective germicide, but also as an astringent because of tannins in it, that will wash away the excess oils from the skin. You can either apply lemon juice directly to your skin, or you can mix it with other effective ingredients, such as cinnamon powder. Cinnamon shows inhibitory effect against acne causing bacteria acnes.

Garlic Garlic is known to purify your blood and only pure blood can ensure clear skin for you. While you can choose to chew a clove of raw garlic every day, you can even use the same garlic clove to get rid of acne. Garlic has immense antibacterial and antiviral properties, along with enforcing cell re-growth and improving the general texture of the skin. Allicin in garlic exhibits anti-inflammatory activity which reduces the redness and swelling of acne. Simply cut a clove and apply the juice on the pimples, allowing it to work for five minutes before washing it off with tepid water. Repeat the procedure as many times in the day as you can.

Baking soda Most people tend to have baking soda lying around their house or even if they dont, it is an easy enough thing to get your hands on. Baking soda can be used to remove pimples, without resorting to harsh chemicals. Baking soda has anti-inflammatory properties which will help to soothe the inflamed tissues of skin and exfoliation property will help to unclog the blocked pores. Create a thick paste using baking soda and water or even lemon juice. Apply it to your skin, once the paste has dried up, you can wash it off with luke warm water. Ideally, you should do this 2-3 times in a week to see results. Do make sure that you do not keep the paste on your skin for too long, because it can dry your skin out completely.

Apple cider vinegar Apple cider vinegar has become an extremely popular ingredient these days and a growing number of kitchens all over the world, now have it has a pantry staple. However, this very apple cider vinegar can also help reduce and remove pimples it not only kills microorganisms, but also helps balance the pH levels of your skin. It absorbs the excess oil from the skin and beta-carotene in it helps to counter the future skin damage. Create a pimple solution using one part apple cider vinegar to three parts water. Using a clean cotton ball, apply this mix to your pimples and leave overnight, and then wash it off.
