The best raw food granola ever!

This is very easy to make and is so full of vital nutrients its impossible to list them all. Not only can you eat this for breakfast its a perfect raw food trail mix to carry with you to keep hunger pangs at bay and boost energy levels through the day.

Ingredients enough for about 6 people/meals

1 cup of dried fruit of choice
2 cups of water or orange juice
2 cups of oats
a cup of chia seeds
a cup of crushed flaxseeds
cup of dried millet
Salt to taste
Honey to taste
1 orange
cup of Goji berries

Preparation:
To start with make a fruit salad with your favourite dried fruits. Here I used prunes, pineapple, mango, dates and figs, enough to fill a cup. Add two cups of fruit juice or water, at this point add honey for natural sweetening if you like. Let these sit for a few hours until the fruit has absorbed some of the fluid and rehydrated. Whizz it all up in a blender until smooth.

Slice an orange into medium size slices and put in your dehydrator.

For the dry ingredients mix two cups of oats, a cup of chia seeds, a cup of crushed flaxseeds and cup of dried millet and salt to taste. Pour in the bended dried fruit and stir until you have a smoothish paste. Spread this thinly on your dehydrating tray and leave to crisp, periodically breaking it into pieces and turning it over. I find it usually takes about 36 hours to be about right. Not tooth breaking-ly dry but not soggy either.

At this point take your orange slices and cut them into small pieces. If you want a very intense orange flavour leave the skin on. It gets very dry and crunchy but some people find it a bit strong. Add to the granola. Add a large handful of dried goji berries. And youre done.

You can eat this with soya/nut milk or with a fruit juice or you can enjoy it dry as a trail mix. Be aware that it doesnt have any added preservatives etc so it wont keep forever.
