Ingredients

1 ripe banana
1 cup fresh spinach
1 cup fresh kale
1/2 of a cup of vegan milk of your choice
the juice from 1 lime
1 tsp organic Spirulina
Optional: 1 tbsp raw honey or 2 dry dates, pitted

Method

Wash the greens with plenty of water, drain and place in the blender. Add the bananas (you can use frozen bananas for a richer texture freezing the ripe bananas is a great way to preserve the black bananas that you dont use otherwise), the vegan milk, the lime juice and blend until all incorporated. If you prefer your smoothie sweeter, you can blend the pitted dates with the other ingredients, or add a teaspoon of good quality raw honey when the smoothie is ready. Add the spirulina and pulse one time. Have your smoothie right away to benefit at maximum from the powerful nutrients.
