If you like taking little snacks throughout the day, these savory crackers will make you an addict, but guilt-free. The oats give the crunchiness, the garlic adds delicious flavor, while kale make them a real treat for your body health. Eat them simply, as an afternoon snack, or with your favorite raw spread on top.

Ingredients

Makes 12-15 crackers

1 cup soaked raw almonds
1 cup rolled oats
1 bunch fresh kale
1/2 cup vegan milk of choice
1/2 cup soaked flax seeds
2 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt

Method

Wash the kale, remove their stems and drain well. Add the almonds, rolled oats and salt in a food processor, and blend until you obtain a grainy flour. Add the kale and garlic cloves and pulse 2 or 3 times, until shredded and incorporated in the almond-oat flour.

Transfer the mix into a bowl, and add the soaked flax seeds and the vegan milk. Mix well to combine and obtain a thick dough. Transfer the dough over a parchment paper and use a rolling pin to spread it into 1/4 inch thick layer. Cut the layer in equal rectangles and dehydrate for 30 minutes at 145 degrees, and then for 120 degrees for the next 6-8 hours, until they become very dry and crunchy. Serve right away or store them in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
